Most body lotions are an afterthought.
You buy one, it sits on the shelf, you use it when your skin feels particularly dry and forget about it the rest of the time. It does its job for a few hours and that is about it. Nobody really expects more from a body lotion.
We did.
When we were building the Arunah Range, we kept coming back to one question: why does skincare stop at the neck? The face gets serums, actives, layered routines, carefully chosen ingredients. The body gets whatever is cheapest and smells nice. It made no sense to us.
So we took the same thinking we applied to the Red Rice Serum and brought it to the body.
Red Rice Ferment was already at the heart of our face range for a reason. It carries gamma oryzanol, an antioxidant that outperforms Vitamin E and Vitamin C in protecting skin from the free radicals that cause dullness and premature ageing. It supports collagen. It helps regulate melanin. It is one of Ayurveda's most underrated ingredients and modern science is only beginning to understand just how much it does.
We built the body lotion around that same core.
Then we asked what the body specifically needs that the face does not always struggle with as much. Roughness. Persistent dryness. Skin that loses moisture fast and never quite recovers. Areas like elbows, knees and heels that get ignored until they are visibly cracked. We brought in Ceramides to repair the barrier so moisture actually stays in. Hyaluronic Acid to deliver deep hydration rather than surface moisture. Snail Mucin to smooth texture and support repair in areas that take a beating. Black Currant Extract to protect against the environmental damage that dulls skin from the outside.
The texture was important to us too. We wanted something that absorbs fast, leaves nothing behind and works whether it is a sticky June morning or a dry December night. One formula for every season. No switching, no adjusting, no thinking about it.
